Here we go: During a previous cycle, we worked with the dSLR’s and worked in groups to create Light Writing images. You guys did a great job and really explored your creativity to make this project unique! Now its time to review and edit your favorite images. As you are looking at your images, I want you to try and develop a theme for your montage. This can be by the images your choose or the way you edit and manipulate them. The hue/saturation tool is going to be a fun adjustment to use. You can also use the clone/stamp tool to help you in your editing. As always, remember the other concepts we talked about when it comes to photography. Here’s what to do:
- Go to the our server folder and look for Group Folder. Find your groups folder and
- Copy (do not drag) the images from your group photo shoot you want to use into your “in Class” folder under lighting.
- If you drag and drop, or move the images, you will remove them for everyone else in your group. You do not want to do that!!! If you do, just simply put them back in.
- Edit three images using dodge, burn, and hue/saturation to get your desired affects. The clone/stamp tool can also be helpful here.
- Hover over each one of the tool settings to get an idea of what it does with the help of the gif that pops up.
-

- Create an 8×10 (150 res) with 3 of your edit images with:
- – Name
- “Light Writing” as title
- 3 edited images
This is going to be the first grade of the marking period. It is due at the end of the cycle.
Looking ahead: Continue working on your Light Writing edits and montages.
