Here we go:  Today will be the last day you have to get your images in school to get your images for Elements/Principles. While it is important to get images that represent the elements/principles, I am also look for all the other ideas we have discussed (lighting & composition). We are far enough along that you should be able to incorporate more of your learning. I put yesterday’s post below for your reference.

Before the break, we explored the principles and elements of photography. I add the resources again for your reference below. After reviewing the content below (and with your teachers permission) you are charged with getting at least 2 images that represent each principle of photography. What about the elements? Great question! Remember, elements are the building blocks of principles, so I should see the elements in each and every image as well! You will have two days to scour the school to find images to complete this task. If you can not find adequate images, then you must complete the assignment for homework.

    1. Go through the presentation below (and on Schoology called “Elements & Principles”).

  1. Watch the video linked here –> https://study.com/academy/lesson/the-basic-elements-principles-of-art.html.
  2. Explore these links.
    1. Elements and Principles of Art/Design.
    2. Principles of Design in Photography
  3. Find some of your own example of elements and principles of art in photography that speak to you by doing a simple Google search.

Looking ahead:  If you did not get all the images, make sure you get them before next class! We will
